Updated March 12
Because DIY Packraft is a very small business with limited funds for purchasing stock, I can’t keep a lot of supplies on hand, so when one person makes an unexpectedly large purchase of something (zippers, for example), it can throw off my inventory planning for the next month. It takes a while to re-stock because many of the products are made to order – they’re not just sitting on a shelf somewhere waiting for me to order them, and it can take 1-2 months for them to ship from the manufacturer (5 months in the worst case yet…). Hopefully DIY Packraft will grow and I’ll be able to put more money into inventory so you won’t see the “out of stock” warnings anymore, but until then, here’s my best estimate of when things will arrive. I’ll update this list as I get more information.
The following timelines are not guaranteed, but are based on the best information I have as of the date above:
- Orders of in-stock fabric, adhesives, and valves typically ship within 1-2 business days
- Green 210D fabric has arrived and is now in stock
- TIZIP airtight zippers have arrived and are now in stock
- Camouflage 210D fabric should arrive in about one week
- New packraft kit orders will ship in about one week (I have to catch up on backorders first, now that the zippers have arrived).
