Tariffs on DIY Packrafts?

Just a quick note for those wondering if the new US taxes on imported goods (tariffs) will affect their DIY Packraft purchase.

The short answer is no. I do not collect a tax when you make a purchase, and none of my US-based customers has reported having to pay a tax for receiving a parcel from me.

DIY Packraft is based in Canada, so people outside the US will be unaffected by the tariffs, regardless of what happens between the US and Canada.

Eventually I might be forced to raise prices if this unnecessary and unjustified trade war continues and my costs go up, but let’s all advocate for that not to happen, shall we?
