realize this is not about building packrafts but hoping I can get some input from here because this seems to be one of the biggest packrafting forums
I have 2 alpacka a ranger -410 denier and an explorer42 -210 denier
find that being 200lbs in the back I need a decent amount of weight up front and low to balance the boats and keep them tracking decent
also everywhere we go is a long walk from the cars so tried to find medium size rolling coolers to put most of the stuff in and then put the rolled up boat on top and roll everything down to the water
this is system that works well for us
problem is the coolers are slightly too wide and I have to push them down inside the boats, it deforms the inside of the tube there to some degree and I wonder if this will hurt the boats or if it is ok to have pressure like that against a tube?
it is not crazy but the coolers are approximately 1.25-2 inches wider than the inside of the boats
thank you for any input on this
