Agreed, it sounds like UltraLight is the way to go for you. I added a few attachment points to mine and its 1050grams so less than 2 pounds. I don’t think a thicker floor would do much for it other than add weight. Looking for the lightest solution for a family packraft. Something to take everywhere we go in case there’s a nice lake.

I’m planning to build a 6′ (72″) voyageur to fit three (including a baby). Just ordered the parts last Friday. Will let you know how it turns out space-wise.
